One address for anything you are stuck on, with a person behind it.

info@lumipuhu.com On weekdays we usually reply the same day, and within two working days at the latest. You do not need to include your child's name or any sensitive detail — your account's e-mail address is enough.

01How do I get an account?

LumiPuhu is not open for public sign-up yet. Accounts are created either through a therapist or institution, or directly by us. If you would like to try it, write to info@lumipuhu.com and say which age group your child is in — that is all we need.

Once the account exists, the same e-mail and password sign you in both on the phone and on the panel at app.lumipuhu.com.

02I forgot my password

For now we reset passwords by hand: write to info@lumipuhu.com from your account's e-mail address and we will set a new one and send it to you. Automatic "forgot password" mail is not switched on yet.

A new password must be at least 8 characters and contain a digit and a symbol.

03I forgot the parent PIN

The four-digit PIN that opens the parent panel is separate from your account password; it exists so a child does not wander into the panel. If you forget it, you can set a new one on the phone using your account password. After repeated wrong attempts the PIN locks for a while — that is deliberate; wait and try again.

04How do I connect my therapist?

The connection is always started or approved by the parent: the therapist invites you, you approve. From that moment the therapist can see the records of the child you granted access to — not your other children, not the rest of your account.

You can withdraw the grant whenever you like. Access ends immediately; notes the therapist wrote until then remain as records.

05Adding a child, and more than one

You add a child from the parent panel on the phone: a name or nickname, an age group and an avatar. You can add several; each has its own records, star jar and rewards, and you switch between them from the picker on the home screen.

The age group matters: it sets how the rooms speak, how deep the feelings wheel goes and how long the activities run. You can change it later.

06Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, iOS 17 and later. The app is free, has no in-app purchases and carries no ads. The parent and therapist panel also opens in any browser at app.lumipuhu.com.

The app keeps working when the connection drops: what you mark waits on the phone and is sent by itself once you are back online.

07How do I delete my data?

Write to info@lumipuhu.com from your account's e-mail address. You can ask for one child's records to be deleted, for your whole account to be deleted, or for a copy of your data. We complete the request within 30 days at the latest. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

08I found a bug

Please tell us — it is genuinely welcome. These details make it much faster to fix:

  • which screen you were on (for example "the Feelings Room, second step of the wheel"),
  • what you were trying to do and what happened instead,
  • a screenshot, if you have one,
  • your iPhone model and iOS version.

09Reporting a security issue

If you find a security problem, please write to info@lumipuhu.com before sharing it anywhere public. We will acknowledge your report and tell you when it is fixed. For an app holding children's records, these reports are the first thing we work on.
